While we were in Fairbanks we went out to Goldstream and took some pictures of the cabin that Haakon's family lived in until he was 8 years old. 
His dad built this cabin himself and originally there was no running water.
This is the outhouse that Haakon had to run to until he was 6 years old.
Corinne asked Haakon to tell us about growing up here and it was so fun to hear the stories after seeing it.
It is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful, peaceful place. I can see why you lasted so long in that cabin Midge..... even with no running water. What a great place to grow up!
