Saul was about a month old here and Haakon's scruff is about a month old too. I didn't like it at first but got used to it right about when he shaved it off to go back to work. ;) He looks so cute and tough!

Of course, a trip to the lake wouldn't be complete without someone falling in. Leave it to Lauren!
It also wouldn't be complete without a leech or two. Torsten had two little visitors sucking his blood after we left the lake. I was too grossed out to think of taking pictures. Leeches.... yuck!
The best part of the day was watching the dads take all the "older" kids (3-6 yr. olds) on a little paddle trip across the lake. Allison and I giggled the whole time and could hardly contain our laughter when they all came back with the children either crying or in "time-out" with the men completely frazzled... now they know what it can be like for us trying to accomplish something with kids in tow! hee hee!
