We had an amazing aurora display the other day right outside in our own yard. My only regret was that I couldn't find my tripod anywhere! All of my pictures are slightly blurry. I have to admit that I still did a pretty good job holding my breath and not moving and ended up with some decent shots after all.
At least you get the idea of how amazing they were!
One of the great things about this auroral display was that it was before it the temperatures had gotten too cold. Usually we are running in and out of the house in all our snow gear trying to keep warm when an event like this happens. Instead we just hung out outside and enjoyed the show!!
